Room 101 - The Results Are In.
Thanks to those who took time to send in suggestions for our Christmas Room 101 - Some of you clearly have many issues with Christmas!
Anyway, after much debate the committee, Katie's Dad, have come up with this definitive list. Unfortunately the decision is final and there is no right of appeal.
In are........Cliff Richard, Val Doonican, Christmas Cake, Noel Edmonds, Advent calendars involving Ken and Barbie. Adverts for holidays on Christmas Day afternoon, the word Crimbo and Aled Jones.
Others going in are the fact the is no more Morecambe & Wise. (The best thing on TV this Christmas was the repeat of their 1973 Christmas show). News item on christmas day showing the people camping outside Harrods for the boxing day sales are also in.
Piped music in Supermarkets! The Frog Chorus and Pipes of Peace, The Queen's Speech, pictures of royals wandering aimlessly outside Sandringham on Xmas morning. (What would the Boxing Day papers have on their front page without this tradition!?)
Of course the most voted for "item" was Simon Cowell and think its fair to say it was a given that he would go in. He probably has already started a Room 101 X Idol Factor On Ice as he continues his bid to take over the country and then the World.
Tasteless outdoor Christmas lights go in of course not seeing enough children out on Christmas morning on their new bikes and skateboards. They all, of course, have their noses in their new electrical PSP Box, I Plod, 3, Light Wee, DS thingymygig!
Selected ones Not going in our Christmas Room 101 are Trivial Pursuits, Sprouts, Monopoly, Pig in Blankets and Bread Sauce.
