£16,327 Raised For Little Havens
We are pleased to announce the current total raised for LH by Friends of Katie.
We have now raised over £16,300 for Little Haven Children's Hospice in Southend.
Sarah Franklin, from Little Havens, said when announcing the total that it "still amazes me every time I check." So we are very proud. Here’s where some of the money has come from…. The 2008 Friends of Katie Cricket Match raised £4,400.
Shoebury Cricket Club donated £2,000.
Fan Brown's Swishing Party in Norfolk raised £300.
The Essex Country Show donated £1,000 in Katie’s memory.
A number of personal donations were made at Katie's funeral and Service of Celebration.
Shrimperzone, a website for Southend United fans, donated £300.
Castle Point Council donated £100s.
Coffee Mornings swelled the coffers.
And there is still over £1,300 coming from the Danbury Mission from their football marathon and Quiz night.
Plus Westcliff High are collecting for LH on the night of their Prom.
