Katie's Dad was among the speakers at the Havens Hospice Long Service and Every One of Us Awards night.
The eveining held in Southend honoured volunteers who had helped out from 5 years up to 35! Staff members were awarded for their work too.
Katie's Dad spoke about Katie and her time at the hospice and was delighted to meet a nurse who had looked after Katie back in 2007.
