We are delighted to announce that Friends of Katie won the Community Champion Award at the recent Pride of Essex Awards.
On a glitzy night at the Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford we beat the four other nominees to win the prestigious award. Photo shows Katie's Mum Jo with the award along with husband Rob and Friends of Katie.
Katie's Mum collected the award and a cheque for £1,000 (which was donated to Little Havens)in an evening attended by Rick Wakeman among others.
