Katie's Mum, Jo, and her Auntie Penny have completed their trekking of part of the Way of St. James or St. James' Way in Northern Spain, known as the El Camino De Santiago.
On her return Jo complained about her poor feet but added that she and Penny had done Katie proud.
The Way of St. James was one of the most important Christian pilgrimages during medieval times and legend holds that St James' remains were carried by boat from Jerusalem to northern Spain where he was buried on the site of what is now Santiago de Compos
Jo and Penny will be spending a week on their pilgrimage hoping to walk 20km a day. They aim to raise money in Katie's memory for Little Havens and Jo has set up a Just Giving Page.
Katie was a Christian and Jo feels it important that she marks the 5th year of Katie's passing in a special way.
