We are pleased to have heard from 10 year old Ellie Bower who with her Dad saw Chelsea play Newcastle having won tickets at our cricket match auction in July.
The game was played at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea, Ellie's team, winning 2-0. Please read on to find out what she thought.
Ellie said "I was so excited when I saw the stadium, I couldn't believe how big it was. We got caught in a Thunderstorm before the game but found shelter in the Megastore."
"I managed to persuade Dad to buy me a new shirt and scarf, I also got a flag and a pen. "We found our seats and took some photos of the stadium. The players came out to warm up and I saw my all time hero Petr Cech in action."
"The game began at 5.30, it was amazing. We were sat just in line with the penalty spot and so saw Hazard score the first Chelsea goal. We then later had a really good view of the great goal that Torres scored to make it 2-0. The noise that the crowd made was amazing and I learnt some new Chelsea chants."
"Final score 2-0 - the atmosphere was electric and I feel so lucky to have been given the chance to go."
Friends of Katie are pleased that eventually, via Katie's Auntie Fan, the tickets found a really good home.
