There were many highlights of last years Cricket Match one of which was the number of spectators resplendent in their white Friends of Katie Tee Shirts
Thanks to the organisers of the match and our friends at "Sport Matters" in Great Leighs the first 100 spectators were given tee shirts and many were worn on the day in the lovely warm weather that graced the occasion.
This year we have again teamed up with Sport Matters and the first 100 who attend the day will be given tee shirts. The shirts will be sky blue to match the day's theme and will no doubt be sought after, particularly if the weather is as good as it was last year.
In the meantime we would love to see your photos of you wearing last year's white shirt, be it on holiday, at school, playing sport or any event where you may have worn our colours. We want to create a gallery purely for photos of the tee shirts. We would also love to hear your stories about the shirts.
Sarah Fowler, who presented us with a framed score card from last year's game and has done loads of fund raising for us, wore her shirt for three consecutive Southend United games all of which they won. Unfortunately Millwall ruined that record at the fourth attempt but the least said about that the better!
