We are 10!

The Friends of Katie Website is celebrating it's 10th Birthday and we are certainly proud of what we have achieved.

Over the last 10 years it has been our pleasure to help promote our fundraising for Little Havens while at he same time telling Katie's story. Please look out for a few changes in the next couple of weeks.

Katie's Birthday and 21st February

As many of you will know Katie's birthday and date of her passing both fell in February. Katie would have been 26 on the 5th.

It is 11 years since we lost Katie on the 21st. Therefore the month is a very hard one for her friends and family but it is made all the easier by the love and support we receive.

Fundraising at Christmas - £1,300 raised!

Those of you who knew Katie will remember how much she absolutely loved Christmas. This made the festive period even harder for us all.

Katie's Dad and his colleagues raised over £1,300 for Little Havens over Xmas by holding a raffle and donating instead of sending cards. An amazing total.

Baton Of Life

Three of Katie's Dad's colleagues took part in this year's Baton of Life in aid of Little Havens at the Olympic Park in Stratford.

Paula, Heidi and Clare raised £600 on the day which is incredible! Thank you!

2018 Cricket Match - £3,000 Raised

The10th Friends of Katie Cricket Match took place on the one day of the summer when it rained!

However, despite the inclement weather the match was played and Nick's XI won by just 10 runs. More importantly over £3,000 was raised, Please read on for match report.
